JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) On 25.07.2023, the following, order was passed :- "The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.PC is for quashing of the order dated 02.05.2023 (Annexure P-4) passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Kapurthala vide which the bail bonds and surety bonds of the petitioner were cancelled and forfeited to the State and none-bailable warrants of arrest have been issued to the petition due to his non-appearance in a case No.SC-41-2020 titled as 'State of Punjab vs. Arshdeep Singh @Arsh etc.' arising out of FIR No.123 dated 09.06.2018 under Section 379 IPC registered at Police Station City Kapurthala, District Kapurthala. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that on account of custody in another case, the petitioner was unable to appear before the Trial Court on 02.05.2023 because of which the impugned order came to be passed.  CRM-M-35399-2023 -2to join the proceedings once again. Notice of motion for 26.09.2023. In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today and subject to a deposit of Rs.25,000/- as costs with Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, Chandigarh Lawyers Family Welfare Fund, Account No.41564846387, SBI High Court Branch, IFSC:-SBIN0050306, he shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of the trial Court. The learned counsel for the petitioner shall produce the receipt regarding deposit of Rs.25,000/- with the aforesaid Association as well as a copy of the order passed by the Trial Court granting interim bail to the petitioner on the next date of hearing."

In compliance of the aforementioned orders, the petitioner has surrendered and has been released on interim bail vide order dated 31.07.2023 (Mark 'X") passed by Judge Special Court, Kapurthala and has deposited Rs.25,000/-.
