(ORAL) In the present petition, the grievance of the petitioners is that an appropriate direction be given to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioners with regard to promotion as Block Education Officer under the handicap category keeping in view the instructions dated 17/19.04.2017 and 11.06.2018, which have been issued by the State government.

Learned State counsel submits that as per the instructions dated 21.07.2022, received from the department, the claim of the petitioners is under consideration and appropriate order will be passed within a period of two months from today and in case, the petitioners are found entitled for any relief, the same will be extended to them within a period of next four weeks thereafter.
