Present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner - Management, for seeking quashing of the award dated 14.12.2015 (Annexure P-3), vide which, respondent No.2 - workman, has been ordered to be reinstated along with continuity of service with 50% back-wages. 2.
Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.2 - workman, submits that in fact, there being no stay granted by this Court against the impugned award dated 14.12.2015 (P-3), respondent No.2 - workman, had already crossed the age of superannuation about more than 10 years back. Further, submits that as per information received by him, said workman has already received her 50% back-wages, as ordered by the learned Tribunal. 3.
Further submits that probably, no cause survives to the petitioner - Management, to pursue the present writ petition once, the workman has already crossed the age of superannuation, and monetary relief JAWALA RAM 2024.01.25 18:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Taking note of the facts and circumstances, as explained by learned counsel for respondent No.2 - workman, and same being recorded here-above, this Court is also of prima facie view that the petitioner - Management, perhaps has left with no interest in pursuing the present writ petition, as no cause of action survives for it, as on day. Thus, on the basis of the information supplied by counsel for respondent No.2 - workman, present writ petition is disposed of, as no cause of action subsists as on day.
However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to move an appropriate application for revival of present writ petition, within a period of eight weeks from today, in case some cause of action still survives therein for its adjudication.
