The petitioner prays for quashing of the selection list issued on 12.05.2016 for the post for Deputy District Attorney. 2.

In substance, the petitioner challenges the appointment of the respondent No.3. In fact, the whole dispute is with regard to the correctness of the revised answer key uploaded by the Punjab Public Service Commission after referring the objections filed by the candidates to the tentative answer key to the Subject Experts of the various universities/colleges.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner made a sincere attempt to persuade this Court to examine the accuracy of the answer to the disputed question, as it pertains to the subject of criminal law, however, this DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2023.05.25 10:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

2023:PHHC:074054 Civil Writ Petition No. 19961 of 2018 Court is not expected to exercise the appellate jurisdiction over the opinion furnished by the Subject Experts. The scope of judicial review of the writ Court is extremely limited. In this case, the correctness of the objections has been examined by the Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala and the Assistant Professor, Department of Law, Government Mahindra College, Patiala.
