(ORAL) Present Writ Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to waive the nonconstruction fees in respect of plot No.B-170, Maal Mandi (Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar), Area Development Scheme, Amritsar, and to permit registration of the plot in favour of the petitioner. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied, in case, his pending legal notice dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P-6) is considered and decided by respondent No.3, which has not been adverted to by the respondents till date. On the other hand, on advance service of copy of petition, learned State counsel and learned counsel for respondent-Amritsar Improvement Trust appear and oppose issuance of notice of motion. They submit that grievance of the petitioner will be looked into by respondent No.3 and it shall take decision either way, on the pending legal notice dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P-6).

Without commenting on merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider the pending legal notice dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P-6) and pass an appropriate reasoned order, in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 06 weeks from the date of receipt of copy/ production of this order. 5.
