#(#&"  Affidavit dated 27.08.2024 filed by Senior Superintendent of Police, Jagaon, District Ludhiana (Rural) is taken on record.

2. Mr. Jasjyot Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jagraon is present in Court along with ASI Randhir Singh, P.S. Sadar, Jagraon and has furnished the status report dated 27.08.2024. The same is taken on record. Copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. During the course of hearing it transpires that the role attributed to the petitioner as per status report happens to be grievous injury caused on the finger of Sukhpreet Singh @ Sukha.

4. On query, the Investigating Officer of the case has not been able to explain any such injury available on record. The concerned Deputy

 Superintendent of Police present in Court has apologised by stating that this information was given by Investigating Officer and seeks some time to file supplementary affidavit.

5. Be filed on or before 10.09.2024.

6. Mr. Jagjit Singh, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.2 and has filed his power of attorney. The same is taken on record. He has admitted that the parties have effected the compromise and as such the complainant has no objection in case the bail is granted to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation within seven days from today and in the event of his arrest, he is ordered to be released on interim bail on his furnishing personal/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer. He shall also abide by conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
