Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 & 2 to appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner is son of late Bhupinder Kumar, who was working with the respondentdepartment and he died during his employment on 21.12.2016. Learned counsel further contended that except the petitioner, there is one daughter of late Bhupinder Kumar, who has already given in writing in favour of the petitioner that employment on compassionate grounds be given to him. For that purpose, petitioner made representation dated 02.08.2017 (Annexure P6), which is still pending with the respondents. Notice of motion.
