By way of present writ petition, prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents to deposit and disburse the amount of enhanced compensation in the favour of petitioners in pursuance to a decision dated 02.11.2018 passed in RFA-2225-2016. 2.

At this stage, learned counsel for petitioners restricts his claim only regarding disposal of representation dated 24.03.2023, submitted on the behalf of petitioners for the abovementioned relief. 3.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Athar Ahmed, DAG, Punjab submits that the aforesaid representation shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within a period of two months from today.

In view of the above, representation dated 24.03.2023 (Annexure P-6, pg.64) be considered and decided by respondent No.3 within a period of two months from today and in case the petitioners are found entitled for release of any amount of compensation, the same be disbursed in their favour. It is however, made clear that the
