*** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. On being asked, learned State counsel has informed that out of 9 PWs cited by the prosecution it has already examined 4 PWs whereas 5 PWs are yet to be examined and the next date of hearing is 25.8.2021. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that she be permitted to withdraw the present petition at this stage.

Permission is granted. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The trial Court is directed to make earnest efforts to conclude the trial by giving short adjournments. Of course, the State shall ensure the appearance of PWs in the Court on the dates fixed and no request for adjournment shall be made on behalf of the accused.
