*** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. Petitioner Narinder Kumar, who joined service of erstwhile Punjab State Electricity Board as a work-charge employee and was thereafter appointed officially as Oil Cleaner and then regularized was promoted to the post of SSA w.e.f. 1.5.2014. His grouse is that he was given such promotion belatedly and not with effect from the date when his juniors were so promoted. He is said to have submitted representations to the respondents, copies of which are annexed as Annexure P-4 dated 10.8.2015 and Annexure P-5 dated 10.5.2021 but those did not evoke any response necessitating the filing of the present writ petition. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would be satisfied if the respondents are directed to dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioner in a time bound manner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the PARVINDER SINGH 2021.10.27 16:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
