Petitioner has sought a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to release him on emergency parole for four weeks. Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Mr. Sahil Sharma, DAG Punjab, who is present in court accepts notice. He, at the outset, submits that matter shall be examined by the concerned authority. In case a speaking order has not been passed so far, it shall be done at the earliest. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, this petition is disposed of.
