This petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of appropriate order or direction to the respondent No. 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent No. 4 to 7 who are illegally harassing and humiliating the petitioner without following the due process prescribed the u/s 179 of BNSS 2023. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner have preferred a representation dated 23.04.2026 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Gurdaspur but no action has been taken so far. CRWP-6276-2026 (O&M) would be satisfied if directions are issued to No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Gurdaspur to look into his complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Gurdaspur to consider and decide the representation dated 23.04.2026 (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
