Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant pay scale as per Punjab Government order dated 03.09.2003 (Annexure P1).

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner had been making representations repeatedly and his latest representation (Annexure P5) was filed on 27.07.2017, but no action was taken thereon and thereafter, he got issued legal notice dated 20.01.2018 (Annexure P6), but still no action has been taken thereon.

On asking of the Court, Mrs. Anju Arora, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
