Challenge in this petition is to order dated 06.10.2015 passed by State Information Commissioner, Punjab on the issue of imposition of penalty. It has been urged before the court that petitioner was posted as Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Jaitu for a limited period i.e. only five days. However, she has been saddled with penalty of `25,000/- despite the fact that for rest of the period some other official was posted as Executive Officer who is SPIO for the purposes of the Act. She has also been directed to pay compensation of `10,000/-. He, thus, submits that matter be remitted to the same authority for decision afresh. Prayer for remand is not seriously opposed by learned counsel appearing for the respondents. In view of above, order dated 06.10.2015 is hereby set-aside. Matter is remitted to same authority for decision afresh keeping in view all the contentions made before ths court.

Disposed of.
