Virk, Senior DAG, Haryana --- SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life, liberty and property of the petitioner at the hands of inmates who are serving their sentence in District Jail Bhondsi with the petitioner. Further direction is sought to respondents no.1 to 3 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 8.7.2024 (Annexure P-1). 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2/Director General of Prisons, to look into the representation dated 8.7.2024 (Annexure P-1), within a time bound manner.

In view of the above, without going into the merit of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2/ Director General of Prisons, to look into the representation dated 8.7.2024 (Annexure P-1) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of 3 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
