Petitioner submits that she is apprehending danger to her life and liberty. Her mother has died and her father is a drunkard person. Respondents NO.4 and 5 have sold her for `2 lakhs and now they want to marry her forcibly with respondent No.9. Presently, she is living with Ms. Sambho daughter of Hassan, resident of Dosanjh Kalan, Tehsil Phillaur. She apprehends her kidnapping and forcible marriage with respondent No.9. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala to look into the grievance of petitioner, verify the aspect of threat to her life and liberty and take appropriate action in accordance with law on receipt of copy of this order.
