In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 20.03.2021 (Annexure P-1) passed by respondent No.2, vide which regular departmental enquiry was ordered against the petitioner as well as statement of allegations (Annexure P-2) issued to the petitioner by respondent No.3.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner has been convicted in the criminal proceedings, as such, the present petition may be disposed of having rendered infructuous.
