(Oral) The petitioner has approached this court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking Court monitored CBI (Independent Agency) investigation into the illegalities and irregularities in the management of defence lands situated in the State of Punjab. A further prayer for direction to the respondents to recover the defence land under encroachment of Banarasi Dass Arya Girls College, (Bungalow No.42, Jalandhar Cantt.) and reparation of losses caused to the public exchequer on account of their unauthorized and commercial use and further, demolition of unauthorized construction of the said college, has also been made. 2.

At the outset, the petitioner was confronted that the present writ petition by way of Public Interest Litigation (PIL) does not fall under any of the conditions enumerated in the Maintainability of Public Interest Litigation Rules, 2010, framed by this Court.
