******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioners in case FIR No.171 dated 01.07.2019 registered for offences punishable under Sections 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 and 420, 465, 467, 471 of Indian Penal Code, at Police Station Kotwali Patiala, District Patiala. Heard.
Instant petition was dismissed as withdrawn qua petitioner no.1-Manpreet Verma, vide order dated 21.08.2019. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Mukhtiar Singh submits that petitioner no. 2-Bikramjit has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required for the purpose of further investigation of the case.
In view of submission of learned State counsel but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition qua petitioner no. 2-Bikramjit is allowed and order dated 21.08.2019 is made absolute till JITENDER KUMAR 2019.11.05 14:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

(iii) that the petitioner shall not leave India without the prior permission of the Court.
(iv) that the petitioner will seek regular bail on the presentation of challan in Court.
