The instant petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 439 of Cr.P.C.), for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 21(c)/29/61/85 of NDPS Act, in FIR No. 168, dated 06.11.2024, registered at Police Station Special Task Force, District SAS Nagar, Mohali (Punjab).

As per allegations, there is recovery of 257 grams of 'Heroin' from the right pocket of the trouser worn by the petitioner, and 263 grams of 'Heroin' has been recovered separately from his co-accused - Gurpreet Singh, when they were together and riding over a motorcycle. 3.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioner submits that she does not wish to press the present regular bail petition, at this stage. 4.
