The petitioner is to complete the second year of his extended period on 30.4.2019 while serving as Clerk in the office of RTA,Amritsar. He has challenged his transfer from the office of RTA,Amritsar to the office of RTA,Jalandhar on the ground of nine months remaining for him to retire. That apart by referring to Annexure P-3, it is shown that his daughter is suffering from depression and mental disorder. Notice of motion was issued for today.

At the time of hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present writ petition has become infructuous as the transfer order of the petitioner has been withdrawn.

Dismissed as infructuous.
