RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this court by way of instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that when the grievance of the petitioner was not being redressed, he finally approached the respondent authorities by way of self contained legal notice dated 15.8.2012 (Annexure P-6), but the same is also pending decision. He submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent no.2 is directed to consider and decide his legal notice, within a reasonable time.

CWP No.2637 of 2015 accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and fairly states that in case the legal notice dated 15.8.2012 (Annexure P-6) is pending, as claimed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, let the present writ petition be disposed of, while giving directions to respondent no.2 to decide the legal notice of the petitioner, within a reasonable time.

Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to supply requisite number of copies of the writ petition to the learned counsel for the respondents, during the course of the day.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, Secretary, Staff Selection Commission, Block No.12, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-respondent no.2. directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioner raised vide his legal notice dated 15.8.2012 (Annexure P-6) and decide the same at an early date, by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

With the above said observations made and directions issued, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
