In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a direction to the official respondents to provide application form/file to the petitioner in order to apply for arms license. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in spite of making various efforts, the respondents are not providing the application form to the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has also submitted representation dated 16.03.2026 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2 for providing the application form in order to apply for arms licence.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to visit the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur on 05.06.2026 at 10.00 am alongwith certified copy of this order. Thereafter, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur or his staff shall provide the application form to the petitioner for grant of arms license.
