(Oral) The challenge in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is to the letter dated 20.09.2017 (Annexure P8), issued by respondent No.2, whereby, the petitioner was informed that on account of non-deposit of first installment and security amount within the time stipulated i.e. 10.07.2017 as per Auction Notice dated 13.06.2017 (appended as Annexure P-1), final approval has not been granted to the petitioner upon his application. The aforesaid impugned letter had been issued, despite the petitioner having made and furnished Bank Drafts of `68,46,002/-, dated 10.07.2017 to respondent No.2 well within the time regarding permission of respondent No.2 was obtained and an e-mail in this regard was sent to the official site.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, perusing the averments made in the writ petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the controversy, we dispose of the writ petition by permitting Jawala Ram 2017.09.25 13:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No. 21865 of 2017 - 2 - the petitioner to file a detailed and comprehensive representation along with the supporting material before respondent No.2 within a period of three days from today.
