Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS for quashing of order dated 11.05.2026, whereby learned trial Court has committed the matter to the learned Court of Sessions stating that the prima facie offence under Section 450 of IPC is made out, in case FIR No. 54 dated 24.02.2019 under Sections 326, 452, 323, 324, 427, 382, 34 IPC (Section 382 deleted later on) registered at Police Station Jandiala, Amritsar, now pending before the learned Sessions Court, Amritsar.

After registration of the FIR, challan was submitted for the offences under Sections 326, 452, 323, 324, 427 and 34 IPC. Learned Magistrate observed that the offence under Section 450 IPC is made out and committed it to the Court of Sessions. The proceedings regarding charge is yet to be conducted by the Court of Sessions.
