Mr. Charanpreet Singh, AAG, Punjab has accepted notice for the respondent State of Punjab. He on instructions from ASI Harminder Singh states that after conclusion of prosecution evidence, statement of accused has since been recorded under Section 313 Cr.P.C and now the case is fixed for 7.8.2023 for defence evidence of the accused. It being so, the trial is likely to be concluded in near future. Therefore, no ground is made out to grant bail to the petitioner during pendency of the trial. The petition stands dismissed accordingly.
