(  &'( #)# accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3. On instructions from SI Dilawar Singh, learned counsel for UT, Chandigarh states that the petitioners be directed to appear before the concerned Station House Officer on account of the fact that the address of the petitioner mentioned in the representation (Annexure P3) as well as in this petition, on verification by the authorities, it has been found that they are not residing there.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the claim raised by the petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh to look into the representation dated 16.8.2022 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same expeditiously, in accordance with law. It has also been directed to the petitioners to appear before the concerned SHO and provide the correct address where they are residing.
