The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari setting aside the action of the respondents in not regularizing the services of the petitioners and in not paying them equal pay for equal work from the date of their joining, at par with the regular employees working on the same post and performing the same duties and responsibilities. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to the respondent/State to decide the representation dated 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-14) in view the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Civil Appeal No. 1996 of 2024 titled Madan Singh and Others vs. State of Haryana and Others, along-with a bunch of connected appeals.

Since the official respondents were served with an advance copy of the petition Mr. Deepak Balyan, Addl. AG Haryana, puts an appearance and assures the Court that above-said representation will be decided in view of Madan Singh's case (supra) within time bound manner. 5.
Without commenting upon the merits of the case, the respondents/Competent Authority are directed to decide the representation dated 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-14) in view of Madan Singh's case (supra), after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, by passing a speaking order within a period of eight weeks from today. A copy of the said speaking order shall thereafter be supplied to the petitioners within one week.
