The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.108 dated 22.07.2020, under Section 498-A IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Anandpur Sahib, District Rupnagar (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition submitting that the matter has been compromised between the petitioner and the first informant, as such, they intend to file a petition for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise.
