***** Rakesh Kumar Jain, J. (Oral) This petition is filed to challenge the proceedings and decisions taken by the Interim Committee of the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee held on 29.09.2016.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the Interim Committee was appointed after the order passed by the Apex Court who has taken certain wrong decisions.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and examining the available record, I am of the considered opinion that the remedy in this regard, available to the petitioner, is to challenge the proceedings and decisions of the Interim Committee by way of Civil Suit as the Civil Suit is not barred as such. Consequently, the present petition is hereby dismissed on this ground alone but liberty is given to the petitioner to avail his remedy of civil suit, if so advised.
