Mr. Nilesh Bhardwaj, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. RAJESH BINDAL, J The petitioner has approached this Court with a grievance that payment of ` 30,54,783/- had not been made to him despite execution of the contract.

In the affidavit dated 16.7.2015, filed by Pawan Kumar Mittal, Executive Engineer, Water Supply & Sanitation Division, Faridkot, it has been stated that entire amount has already been paid to the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid stand taken by the respondents, prima facie, the prayer made in the present petition has been rendered infructuous. However, as none has appeared for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
