The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of regular bail in respect of a case registered against him vide FIR No.243 dated 30.11.2017 at Police Station City, Sri Muktsar Sahib, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, under Section 364 IPC (Sections 302/34/407 IPC added later on).

The learned State counsel has informed that the matter is now fixed before the trial Court for recording defence evidence. 3.

In view of the aforesaid position wherein this Court finds that the trial Court is virtually at its fag end, this Court does not deem appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner at this stage against whom there are charges in respect of heinous offences.
