(Oral) Petitioners-Jatin Parihar and Ashok Kumar @ Monu have filed the instant petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, for quashing of FIR No.95 dated 12.07.2024 under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 351(2), 191(3) and 190 of BNS, registered at Police Station Division No.2, Pathankot, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 11.05.2026 (Annexure P-2).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that inadvertently incorrect version of the FIR has been appended with the petition, therefore, he be allowed to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh one with better particulars.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as sought and recorded above.
