Versus

State of Punjab and others .....Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI Present:- Mr. Surinder Garg, Advocate, for the petitioner. Ms. Deepali Puri Sandhu, Additional Advocate General, Pb. Ms. Jasvir Kaur, Advocate, for respondent No.4. **** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Counsel for the petitioner fairly states that the petitioner has already been paid the dues for which he is entitled for alongwith interest @ 9% per annum as being prayed in the present writ petition in respect of the retiral benefits. Further, the respondents have demonstrated in the additional affidavit dated 03.05.2017 that w.e.f. 01.04.2014, the benefit of commutation of pension is no longer available to the employees of the Municipal Council, therefore, the petitioner is not entitled for the same. The above-said fact is not disputed by the counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition and accordingly the same stands disposed of.
