Prayer in the present petition is that the election petition No.1 of 2024 instituted on 25.05.2024, filed by the petitioner should be decided at the earliest as its pendency is causing prejudice.

Ms. Anu Pal, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that if both the parties will coordinate and cooperate, all the efforts will be made to decide the election petition within a period of six months from the next date of hearing already fixed before the Court of learned Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Karnal. 4.
Keeping in view the statement made by learned State counsel recorded herein above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may kindly be disposed of having not been pressed any further. 5.
