Petitioner has posed a challenge to his transfer from Faridkot to Chandigarh on the ground that he was transferred five times in 11⁄2 years. He has relied upon instructions dated 11.04.2017, Annexure P-8 in support of his contention.

Learned State counsel at the outset submits that a fresh order shall be passed by the competent authority within three weeks' from today. In view of statement made by him, this petition is hereby disposed of.
