**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) As per the averments made in the writ petition, petitioner worked on daily wage basis from 05.05.1978 till 26.01.1994 after which his services were regularized on 27.01.1994.

As per the averments made in the writ petition, petitioner superannuated on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.04.2014, but the service, which he had rendered from 05.05.1978 till 26.01.1994, has not been taken into consideration as a qualifying service for the grant of pensionary benefits. The reliance has been placed by the petitioner on the order passed by a Full Bench of this Court in 'Kesar Chand Vs. State of Punjab and others', AIR 1988 Punjab 265.
