(Oral) The prayer made in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, for direction to respondents No.1 to 4 to remove illegal encroachment of respondent No.5 over public land/part/historical pond situated in Khasra No. 1475, Hadbast No.31, Revenue Estate of Village Nakodar-1, Tehsil Nakodar, District Jalandhar, measuring 90 Kanals 10 Marlas and open up the said place for the public use. 2.

After arguing for sometime, when the Bench was not agreeing with the learned counsel for the petitioner in view the facts mentioned in the writ petition, it was prayed by learned counsel for the petitioner that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition. 3.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
