The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer for issuance of an appropriate writ or order directing the respondents to allow ante-dated regularization to the petitioners w.e.f. 17.10.2002 in view of regularization policy (Annexure P-4). Further directing the respondents to allow to opt old pension scheme to petitioners along with consequential benefits by giving them opportunity to opt for old pension scheme. Further directing the respondents to fix the pay of petitioners in regular pay scales w.e.f. 17.10.2002 by allowing them ante dated regularization from 17.10.2002. CWP-22947-2019 as they employees of respondent-University prior to 01.01.2006. In alternate, respondent-University may be directed the petitioners, employees of University appointed prior to 01.01.2006 as they were appointed during 1989-1991 against sanctioned posts of Part Time Sweepers against the sanctioned posts of Part Time Sweepers and remained continue till their services were regularized in the year 2006.

Today, the present case was called twice, but none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
