Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to take action on an application dated 26.12.2016 (Annexure P3) and his representation dated 06.05.2018 (Annexure P7) whereby he requested to settle his claim on the basis of notification dated 14.12.2016 (Annexure P2) issued by the State of Punjab, thereby adopting one time measure for vesting the proprietary rights to the tenants. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner is a tenant and covered under the notification dated 14.12.2016 (Annexure P2) and for that purpose, he had made representation to the State, but the same is still pending for decision, but no action has been taken thereon by now. Notice of motion.
