Through instant petition, preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari or mandamus directing the respondents to step up the pay at par with his junior after re-affixing the pay in the pay scale of Rs.825-1300/- w.e.f. 13.02.1990 notionally when junior person to him Mohan Lal was granted, along with arrears of pay and pension and pensionary benefits as well as interest @ 12% p.a.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner served legal notice dated 27.02.2016 (P-4) upon the respondents but till date neither any reply has been received nor any final order has been passed by the respondent(s). 3.

CWP No.20348 OF 2018 --2-- feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide aforesaid legal notice (P-4) in a time bound manner.

Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in legal notice (P-4) and take a conscious decision, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
