Through instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of petitioner for payment of arrears/higher grade pay after retirement in view of instructions dated 21.07.2015 (P-5) in compliance of order passed in CWP No.9169 of 1987 (P-4) and CWP No.876 of 1988, decided on 24.03.1994 (P-3) along with interest @ 18% p.a. And further directing respondent No.4 to send the case to respondent No.2 through respondent No.3 for payment of arrears/higher grade pay.

Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in legal notice (P-6) and to take a conscious decision, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
