On our asking, Mr.Anil Mehta, learned Deputy Advocate General, Haryana accepts notice on their behalf. Let six copies of the writ petition be supplied to the State counsel during the course of day failing which this order shall be automatically recalled and the writ petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed for non-prosecution. In view of the nature of order which we propose to pass, it is not necessary to seek any counter-reply from respondent Nos.1 to 6 or to serve respondent No.7 at this stage as no order prejudicial to their interest is being passed. The petitioners are statedly residents of village Dadriya, Block and District Faridabad. CWP No.26636 of 2015 [2] other similarly placed persons in the voter list of Ward No.1 of Gram Panchayat area of their village. The aforesaid relief is based upon the recommendations made by the State Election Commission vide communications dated 03.11.2015 and 24.11.2015 for the purpose of Zila Parisad and Gram Panchayat elections.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and considering the nature of relief sought by them coupled with the fact that the State Election Commission has already asked the authorities to redress the petitioners' grievance, we dispose of this writ petition without expressing any views on the merits of petitioners' claim, with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, Faridabad to decide pending claim of the petitioners as early as possible and preferably within one week from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.

Let a copy of this order be given to Mr.Anil Mehta, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, for information and necessary compliance.
