The instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to decide the complaints/representations dated 08.03.2025 (Annexure P-2) and 31.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) and take appropriate legal action on the same in accordance with law. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that for redressal of their grievance, the petitioner has already moved representation dated 31.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) before the respondent No.2- The Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Department, but till date no action thereon has been taken. He further submits that at this stage, for the purpose of the instant petition, the petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate directions are given to respondent No.2 to consider and pass an KANIKA 2026.05.30 18:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel for State of Punjab submits that the aforesaid representation will be considered in accordance with law. 4.

In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 31.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) moved by the petitioner, in accordance with law by passing an appropriate order, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Copy of the order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner as well.
