***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing revised final result dated 23.06.2022 (Annexure P-6) for the post of Clerk (Category No.01), claiming that petitioner has scored more than the last selected candidate in the Physically Disabled Category.

On 31.08.2022, learned State counsel, on a Court query regarding the marks secured by the last selected candidate in the category the petitioner had applied, had sought time to get instructions. 3.

On resumed hearing today, the learned State counsel states that the petitioner has secured an aggregate of 49 marks as against 59 marks secured by last selected candidate. Therefore, the petitioner was under wrong impression that he had secured more marks in the written examination.

In the premise, it seems that being unaware of his actual result, the petitioner was misled into filing the instant petition premised on an understanding that he has obtained more marks in the written examination. However, he has actually scored 49 aggregate marks, as aforesaid.

The result of the petitioner is not under challenge before this Court. Being so, no further grounds to interfere are made out. 6.

Dismissed.
