***** HARSH BUNGER J. (Oral) Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking an appropriate writ, order or direction for setting aside the illegal manner of implementation of order dated 07.01.2025 (Annexure P-6), specifically the creation of additional Nakka(s).

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioners submits that as regards the relief claimed in the present writ petition, the petitioners have moved the representation dated 27.03.2026 (Annexure P-12), but the same has not been adverted to by the concerned authorities, till date. She submits that petitioners would be satisfied, if time bound directions are issued to respondent No.2 - Punjab State Tubewell Corporation Limited (PSTC), Malerkotla/competent Authority to decide aforesaid representation dated 27.03.2026 (Annexure P-12).

At this stage, Mr. Nirmaljit Singh Diwana, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, appears on behalf of the respondent-State, in pursuance of the advance copy of paper book having already been supplied to him, and submits that respondent No.2 - Punjab State Tubewell Corporation Limited (PSTC), Malerkotla/competent Authority shall take decision either way, on the aforesaid representation dated 27.03.2026 (Annexure P-12), within a period of six weeks from today. 4.

Keeping in view the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Punjab State Tubewell Corporation Limited (PSTC), Malerkotla/competent Authority, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 27.03.2026 (Annexure P-12), in accordance with law, by way of passing a speaking order within a period of six weeks from today, after affording due opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties.
