**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Through this petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.54 dated 06.07.2023, registered under Section 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities), Act, 1989 (Amendment 2015), at Police Station Sadar Phagwara, District Kapurthala, along with all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 11.07.2023 (Annexure P-2). It has been pointed out by the learned State counsel that the FIR in question was registered under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities), Act, 1989 and that the petitioners are not on bail.
