As per averments made in the petition, both the petitioners are major. Dates of birth of both the petitioners are 15.10.1999 and 10.8.1993, respectively. He has placed on record photocopies of the statements of fathers of both the petitioners, wherein it has been stated that they have no objection to the marriage and they would not harass the petitioners and they may live happily. In view of the above, no action is warranted in the matter, however, keeping in view the issue involved in the matter as also the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the claim raised by the petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh to look into the representation dated 17.8.2022 (Annexure P-4) and decide the same expeditiously, in accordance with law.
