It is submitted that petitioner has prayed for extension in service after he attains the age of superannuation on 31.12.2015 in terms of notifications dated 27.02.2013 (Annexure P1) and dated 30.10.2015 (Annexure P2). Respondent No.4 has granted extension to other employees, one of them being Smt. Naresh Sharma, Junior Assistant as reflected in communication dated 17.06.2013, Annexure P5. There is no impediment in granting extension in service to the petitioner. At this stage, it is prayed that respondents be directed to decide petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2015 Annexure P4 in a time bound manner.

CWP No.26694 of 2015 [2] Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the controversy or eligibility of the petitioner for extension in service, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to expeditiously decide representation dated 05.11.2015 Annexure P4, by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
