Prayer in this second petition filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.77 dated 06.07.2022, under Sections 21 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on), registered at Police Station Barnala, District Barnala. 2.

Custody certificate dated 07.11.2023 has been filed by learned State counsel in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition at this stage. 4.

In view of the above, present petition is dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
